Estella Alvarado

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Estella Alvarado, who departed this world on August 16, 2026, in Mercedes, Texas. Estella, a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend, touched the lives of many with her kindness, warmth, and infectious spirit. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Estella is survived by her beloved son, Elias Huerta Jr.; her devoted father, Esteban Alvarado; her caring mother, Maryjane Zamora; and her cherished brothers, Esteban Alvarado Jr. and Ignacio Alvarado. She will also be lovingly remembered by her aunt Sandra Alvarado. Together, they will carry her memory forward, celebrating the love and laughter she brought into their lives.

To honor Estella's life, a Rosary will be held on August 19, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Heavens. Family and friends are invited to join in a Public Viewing earlier that day, starting at 2:00 p.m. at the same location. Following these ceremonies, Estella will be cremated, providing a peaceful resting place for her spirit.

As we gather to remember Estella, let us share our stories and celebrate the joy she spread, ensuring her legacy of love continues to thrive in our hearts and actions. She may be gone from our sight, but her light will forever illuminate our memories.
