Ernesto Segura

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ernesto Segura, a beloved father, brother, son, and friend, who departed from this world on August 31, 2026, at the age of 87. Ernesto was born on November 11, 1938, and lived a full life in Edcouch, Texas, where he made countless memories and touched the lives of many.

Ernesto was a devoted father to his children, Robert Segura (Eva), Elva Izaguirre (Noe), and Nancy Segura, and his legacy will continue to live on through them. He also leaves behind his cherished 13 grandchildren and siblings: brothers Felix and Juan Segura, and sister Aurora Palomin, whose bonds will forever be a source of comfort. Ernesto's warmth, laughter, and caring nature will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

We invite family and friends to come together to celebrate Ernesto's life and the impact he had on each of us. A Prayer Service will be held on September 1, 2026, at 7:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Angels, where we will gather in remembrance of the man who brought so much joy into our lives. Public Viewing will take place earlier that day, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, also at Salinas Funeral Home.

The Funeral Service will take place on September 2, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Angels, followed by interment at Highland Memorial Park at 2:00 PM.

As we honor Ernesto Segura, let us celebrate his life of love, compassion, and strength. His spirit will forever remain in our hearts, guiding us as we remember the wonderful man he was. May he rest in peace.
