It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Enrique Gonzalez, who left this world on April 22, 2026, at the age of 56. Enrique was born on October 2, 1969, and spent his life in the vibrant community of Donna, Texas. He was a beloved son, brother, cherished friend, and a pillar of strength to all who knew him.

Enrique's warmth and kindness illuminated the lives of those around him. Known for his unwavering support and infectious laughter, he brought joy and comfort to family and friends alike.

Enrique was known for his warm smile, infectious laughter, and his unwavering kindness. He had a unique ability to connect with people, offering support and understanding to anyone who needed it. Whether spending time with family or lending a hand to a neighbor, Enrique exemplified the values of generosity and compassion.

Enrique preceeded in death by his father Adan Gonzalez; his siblings, Jose De La Cruz, Felipe Gonzalez, and Janie Gonzalez. He is survived by his mother Maria Dora Gonzalez; his children Aaliah Gonzalez, Aron Gonzalez; his siblings Rachel (Juan Montalvo) Montalvo, Dylan (Linda Gonzalez) Gonzalez, Belinda (Roberto Garcia) Garcia, Brenda Cuellar, Jose (Shay Trevino) Trevino, Arturo Trevino; grandchildren Jordan Gonzalez, and Haziek Mateo Ambriz. Enrique's legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved him-his friends, family, and the many lives he influenced throughout his journey.

A viewing to honor and remember Luis Angel Olivares will be held on April 27, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of Heaven, located at 2929 W. Expressway 83, Weslaco, Texas. Here, family, friends, and those whose lives he graced will come together to celebrate a man whose life was a beacon of kindness and light.

As per his wishes Mr. Gonzalez will be cremated at a later date.

Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
