Elvira Martinez, 65, passed away to be with the Lord on October 20, 2025, at her residence.

Mrs. Martinez was born on January 20, 1960, in Edinburg, TX to Mr. Guillermo Palacios & Mrs. Elvira Tellez.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Mark Anthony Valdez & five sisters.

Elvira Martinez is survived by one son, Simon Ruben Villarreal (Brandi); one daughter, Crystal Lopez (Agapito); four brothers, Magdaleno Vasquez, Jr., Tomas Palacios (Cris), Julian Palacios (Angie), Jose Martin Palacios (Sofie) & one sister, Mariaelena Marroquin (Lluis). Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Derrick Ray Vasquez, Ruby Vasquez, Zachary Valdez, Julian Valdez, Soyla Reyna Valdez, Savana Villarreal, Elijah Chalé Villarreal & Amayah Grace Villarreal.

Visitation for Elvira Martinez is scheduled for Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home Elsa - Chapel of The Heavens. As per her wishes, Mrs. Martinez will be cremated at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna, TX.
