Elvira Escobar

Elsa- Elvira P. Escobar, 86, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 27, 2024 at her residence in Elsa.

Mrs. Escobar was born on June 16, 1937 to Mr. Petronilo Pineda and Mrs. Carlota Monroy in McAlllen, Texas.

Mrs. Escobar is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers; Braulio Pineda, Rutilo Pineda, Damasio Pineda, Andres Pineda & David Pineda; her sisters Herlinda Zepeda, Dolores Villanueva, & Irma Pineda.

Left to cherish her memories is her husband, Guadalupe Orta Escobar; her son Frank and wife Rachel Escobar; her daughter, Mary June (Richard) Castaneda; her brothers, Moises Pineda, Israel Pineda, Ezequiel Pineda, & Ruben Pineda; Grandchildren Richard Bryan & wife Terry Tovar, Robbie Jay (Amy), & Ariana June; Step Grandchildren Angela & Remy; Great-grandchildren; Haylie J., Eli, Ryan, Liam, Melody, Robyn, & Iris, & Step Great-grandchildren; Michah, Matthew, Myles & Aiden.

Visitation for Mrs. Elvira Escobar is scheduled for Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Elsa. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
