Donna, Texas - Elisandro Gonzalez Rodriguez, 64, passed away to be with the Lord on July 12, 2025 peacefully at his residence.

Mr. Gonzalez Rodriguez was born on January 7, 1961 in Villa Garcia, Nuevo Leon to Mr. Elisandro Gonzalez & Mrs. Margarita Rodriguez.

He is preceded in death by both of his parents, his daughter Juanita Gonzalez and his brother Guadalupe Cortez.

Elisandro Gonzalez Rodriguez is survived by his loving wife Veronica Gonzalez, his sons; Elisandro (Michelle) Gonzalez Jr., Elizar Gonzalez, and Juan Jose (Zoe) Gonzalez, his daughters Linda Gonzalez (Alberto Jimenez), and Kelly Gonzalez, He was a loving Step Father to Daniela, Natalie, Abigail and Amy, his brothers; Mario Cortez,Pablo Cortez and Jose Gonzalez, his sisters; Hortencia Cortez, Juany Gonzalez, Martha Espinoza, Amalia Gonzalez, Maria Gonzalez and Margarita Gonzalez, 15 granchildren and 1 great granchild.

Visitation for Elisandro Gonzalez Rodriguez is scheduled for Friday, July 18, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Weslaco. A Funeral Mass will held on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Santa Rosa Texas. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
