Con gran tristeza, la familia y amigos de Eligio B. Lopez anuncian su fallecimiento el 23 de marzo de 2026, a la edad de 79 años. Nació el 16 de enero de 1947 Rancherias Tamaulipas Mexico a sus padres, Eulalio Lopez y Melquiades Barrera.
El Sr. Lopez sera velado el viernes 27 de marzo de 2026 de las 5:00 PM a 9:00 PM en la Funeraria Salinas de Weslaco - Capilla de Gracia con un Rosario a las 7:00 PM. Invitamos a todos aquellos que conocieron y apreciaron a Eligio a recordar su vida y legado en esta despedida que se llevará a cabo en su honor, donde amigos y seres queridos podrán reunirse para rendir homenaje a su memoria y compartir anécdotas que celebran su vida.
El Sr. Eligio será cremado en una fecha posterior en Val Verde Memorial Gardens, en Donna, TX.

With deep sadness, the family and friends of Eligio B. Lopez announce his passing on March 23, 2026, at the age of 79. He was born on January 16, 1947, in Rancherías, Tamaulipas, Mexico, to his parents, Eulalio Lopez and Melquiades Barrera.
Visitation for Mr. Lopez will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of Grace, with a Rosary held at 7:00 PM. We invite all those who knew and cherished Eligio to reflect on his life and legacy during this farewell service held in his honor, where friends and loved ones may gather to pay tribute to his memory and share anecdotes celebrating his life.
Mr. Eligio will be cremated at a later date at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna, TX.
As we come together in mourning, we also reflect upon the memories he left behind. His laughter, his stories, and his love for life will continue to shine brightly in our hearts. May Eligio Lopez Barrera rest in peace-always remembered, never forgotten.
