Weslaco - Elida Ramirez, 76, passed away Monday, February 13, 2023 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
Ms. Ramirez was born January 7, 1947 in Raymondville, Texas, daughter of Conrado Ramirez and Maria del Refugio Rodriguez. She is preceded in death by her parents; sons, Ignacio and Leandro Rodriguez and a sister, Juanita Muniz.
Left to cherish her memories are he children, Jose Juan Martinez, Rey Ramon Martinez, Diana Maria Martinez, Lorenzo Ramirez and Pedro Ramirez. Also surviving her are 18 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Sunday, February 19, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of Grace in Weslaco. As per her wishes, she will be cremated at a later date.
Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Weslaco.
