Elia Gomez, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2026, at the age of 60, leaving a profound legacy of love and kindness in her wake. Born on June 23, 1965, Elia touched the lives of everyone around her with her vibrant spirit and unwavering compassion.

Elia is survived by her devoted husband, Fabian Gomez, and her three cherished sons, Jaysontino, Gregory, and Philip Acevedo. Her love also lives on through her father, Andres Acevedo Jr., her mother, Ernestina Gonzalez, and her siblings: brothers Andres Acevedo III, Randy Acevedo, and Ray Acevedo; and sisters Eloisa Cornejo, Faustino Rios, and Elisa De La Torre. Each of them carries a piece of Elia's heart, and her memory will forever remain in their lives.

Elia was known for her infectious smile and her ability to light up any room she entered. She had an innate gift for making those around her feel loved and valued. Whether through a simple gesture of kindness or her warm, encouraging words, she left an indelible mark on every life she touched.

Friends and family are invited to join in remembering and celebrating Elia's remarkable life. A Rosary will be held at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Angels on June 18, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. Following this, a Public Viewing will take place at the same venue on June 22, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. to allow everyone to come together and honor her memory.

The Funeral Service will be held on June 23, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Angels, culminating in a heartfelt interment at Val Verde Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. that same day.
