Edgar Omar Garza

With deep sorrow and loving remembrance, the family of Edgar Omar Garza announces his passing on September 23, 2026, in Harlingen, Texas.

Edgar was born on October 29, 1988, in Dover, Delaware, to his loving parents, Rodolfo Garza and Norma Alonzo. Throughout his life, Edgar was surrounded by the love of his family, and the memories they created together will forever remain a treasured part of his legacy.

Edgar leaves behind a family who loved him dearly and who will continue to carry his memory in their hearts. He is survived by his parents, Rodolfo and Norma Garza; his two brothers, Rudy Garza and Eloy Garza (Laura); and his two sisters, Ruby Peña (Jorge) and Yesenia Garza (Luis Alvarez).

Although Edgar's time with his loved ones ended far too soon, the love he shared, the moments of laughter, and the memories created throughout his life will never be forgotten. His absence will be deeply felt by his family and all those whose lives he touched. May they find comfort in knowing that the bonds of love remain even when someone is no longer physically beside us.

A visitation for Edgar Omar Garza will be held on Monday, September 28, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of Faith, with a Prayer Service beginning at 12:00 PM.

In accordance with his wishes, Edgar Omar Garza will be cremated at a later date.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
