Alamo-Dimas Sifuentes, a devoted family man and a lifelong resident of Donna Texas, passed away on August 15, 2026. He was born on April 4, 1981, in Weslaco, TX, where he spent his formative years and built a life centered around love, integrity, and community.
Dimas will be remembered first and foremost as a loving husband, father,son, and friend. His unwavering dedication to his family was the cornerstone of his life. He is survived by his beloved wife, Janie Sifuentes, whose partnership and companionship enriched his days. Together, they built a home filled with warmth, respect, and devotion.
Dimas's legacy continues through his four children: sons Aidan D. Sifuentes, Wyatt L. Sifuentes, and Gavin Sifuentes, and daughter Everly F. Sifuentes. He found immense joy and pride in watching his children grow, and imparting lessons of kindness and serving our lord Jesus Christ and, perseverance, and empathy. Each of them carries forth his gentle spirit and steadfast values.
He is also survived by his father, Miguel Sifuentes Sr., and his mother, Ninfa Alvarez who nurtured him from a young age and instilled in him the importance of family and hard work. he is also survived by his brothers Alexis Martinez and Miguel Alvarez, Dimas's life stands as a testament to the principles they shared with him.
Those who knew Dimas recognized him as a man whose presence was a source of stability and compassion. Within his family and amongst friends, he was a pillar, dependable, considerate, and always ready to offer support. Whether at home or in the company of loved ones, Dimas fostered an environment of understanding and affection.
Family, both immediate and extended, was at the heart of everything Dimas did. His roles as husband, father, and son defined him, and his greatest achievements were rooted in these relationships. He approached each day with sincere care for those around him, earning the respect and admiration of all who knew him. He Kept fighting the good fight regardless of the battles; living for Jesus Christ for 12 years.
Public services to honor Dimas's life will be held at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of the Heavens, located at 2929 W. Expressway 83, Weslaco, TX 78599. A Public Viewing is scheduled for Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will follow on Friday, August 21, 2026, commencing at 10:00 a.m., with interment immediately afterward at Val Verde Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Dimas Sifuentes's legacy of love and care continues to echo through those whose lives he touched. He leaves behind an enduring example of devotion to family, making an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him.
