It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Delfina Margarita Loza, beloved wife, sister, and dedicated educator, who departed this life on June 5, 2026, at the age of 63. Delfina was born on March 26, 1963, and spent her life nurturing and inspiring countless students in her community as a devoted teacher.

Delfina leaves behind her cherished husband, Rafael Loza, who stood by her side through all of life's joys and challenges. She is also survived by her beloved sisters, Teresa Delgado, Esmeralda Sanchez, and Mary Gamboa, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

A graduate with a Graduate Equivalence Degree, Delfina's passion for education shone brightly throughout her career, touching the lives of many. Her commitment to her students and her unwavering support for her family exemplified the love and kindness she shared with the world.

Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Delfina's life at Salinas Funeral Home-Chapel of the Heavens in Brownsville, Texas. Viewing will be held on June 8, 2026, 5:00 PM. to 9:00 PM. A Rosary service will commence at 7:00 PM that same evening, providing an opportunity for all to come together in prayer and remembrance.

Delfina's spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched, and her legacy of love and dedication will be remembered fondly. We invite all who knew and loved her to join us in honoring her memory during these services. May she rest in eternal peace.

Delfina was preceded in death by: Arturo Garcia (father), Maria De Jesus Gonzalez (Mother), Gregorio Garcia (Brother), and Arturo Garcia (Brother).
