Delbert Christianson

Weslaco, Texas - Delbert Lowell Christianson, 82, passed away to be with the Lord on December 4, 2025 peacefully at his residence.

Delbert Lowell Christianson was born on September 14,1943 in Roseau, MN, the son of Julius and Ruby (Lovejoy) Christianson. He was baptized and confirmed at Pine Grove Church. Mr. Delbert L. Christianson attended school (grades, 1 through 8) at Malung, MN and then grades 9 through 12 at Central High School at Grand Forks, ND.

Delbert served for 6 years in the Army Reserves.

On March 5,1966, Delbert was united in marriage to the love of his life Norma Jean Epley at International Falls, MN.

He was employed for 6 years with Tollefsrud at International Falls, then for 2 years he did carpentry work and for 23 years in maintenance and painting for Northwest Medical Center. Mr. Delbert Christianson retired on disability in 1999.

Delbert liked wood working, camping and traveling in the motor home.

Surived by his lovely wife of 59 years, Norma Jean, his sons Delroy (Sherri) Christianson and Brian (Stacey) Christianson, his grandchildren Aaron, Emma and Abigail Christianson, his brothers Milo and Layton Christianson, and his sister Ione Boyd.

Preceded in death by both of his parents, his grandparents, his brothers; Delbert Luverne and Melvin Christianson, and his sister Betty Severson.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
