Daniel Edwardo Martinez

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daniel Edwardo Martinez, who departed this life on May 26, 2026, at the age of 70. Born on January 23, 1956, Daniel lived a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories in Weslaco, Texas, where he touched the lives of many.

Daniel survived by his children Vanessa Martinez, Melissa (Jose) Hinojosa, Francisco Martinez, his grandchildren John, Claire, Jacob, and Conner. He will always be remembered for his warm smile, generous spirit, and the kindness he extended to all who knew him. He also served proudly in the U.S Navy. Daniel proceeded in death by his parents Homero Martinez and Frances Scott.

Daniel's spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those he loved, reminding us all of the importance of compassion, joy, and the connections we share.

Rest in peace, dear Daniel. Your memory will forever shine in our hearts.
