Brownsville - Daniel Castillo Jr., 55, passed away Friday, October 6, 2023 at Solara Hospital in Brownsville.

Mr. Castillo was bornAugust 15, 1968 in Brownsville, Texas, son of Daniel Castillo and Maria Antonia Barboza Castro. He is preceded in death by his father and a brother Fernando Castillo.

Left to cherish his memories are his children, Daniel Castillo III, Michael Angel Castillo, Ashley Neri Castillo, Daniela Denise Castillo, Danilyn Castillo; his mother; brothers, Francisco Castillo and Jose Manuel Castillo. Also surviving him are 5 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a 7:00 pm rosary at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Heavens in Brownsville. As per his wishes, he will be cremated at a later date.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.
