Cosme's life was a tapestry woven with compassion, resilience, and joy. He was cherished by many, especially by his devoted family. He is survived by his father, Cosme Antonio Luis, his mother, Elvira Leyva Iriarte, and his brother, Jose de Jesus Luis Iriarte. The bonds of love within this family were strong, and Cosme's presence brought immense pride and happiness to their lives.

A memorial service to celebrate Cosme's life will be held at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of the Heavens, located at 2929 W. Expressway 83, Weslaco, TX, 78599. Friends and family are invited to the viewing on January 5, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, followed by the Rosary service at 6:00 PM. The funeral service will take place the next day on January 6, 2026, beginning at 10:00 AM, culminating at Val Verde Memorial Gardens Cemetery for interment at 11:00 AM.

Cosme nació el 6 de octubre de 1996, en Prince Georges, Maryland, lugar que vio nacer a un alma alegre, noble y llena de cariño.

La vida de Cosme fue un hermoso tejido de compasión, fortaleza y alegría. Fue amado por muchos, especialmente por su familia. Le sobreviven su padre, Cosme Antonio Luis, su madre, Elvira Leyva Iriarte, y su hermano, José de Jesús Luis Iriarte. Familiares y amigos están invitados a la velación el 5 de enero de 2026, de 3:00 PM a 9:00 PM, seguida del Santo Rosario a las 6:00 PM. El servicio funerario se llevará a cabo el 6 de enero de 2026 a las 10:00 AM, concluyendo con el sepelio en Val Verde Memorial Gardens Cemetery a las 11:00 AM.
