Mr. Ruiz was born April 17, 1956 to Mr. Claudio Ruiz Sr. & Mrs. Maria F. Escalante Ruiz in Edinburg, Texas.

Mr. Ruiz is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Claudio Ruiz Sr. & Mrs. Maria F. Escalante Ruiz; his sisters, Virginia Lopez & Olivia Gonzalez.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 50 years, Ruth Flores Ruiz; his sons, Claudio (Magalie) Ruiz III, Lucas O'brien (Esmeralda) Ruiz, Jake Brandon (Brookanne) Ruiz; his daughters, Amy Elizabeth (Elisabet) Barraza, Roxanne (Ricardo Andrez) Borjas, Rochelle Marie Ruiz; his brothers, Federico Ruiz, Roberto Ruiz; his sisters, Maria de la Luz Fuentes, San Juanita Garcia, Rosalinda Garcia, Yolanda Ruiz, Irma Salinas; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr. Claudio Ruiz Jr is scheduled for Thursday, October 30, 2025 from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Friday, October 31, 2025 at 10:00 am at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Edcouch, Texas. As per his wishes, he will be cremated at a later date at Val Verde Memorial Gardens Crematory in Donna.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
