Mrs. Mercado was born on December 28, 1943 to Mr. Angel Mendez and Mrs. Josefina T. Mendez in Mission, Texas.
Mrs. Mercado is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Juan Mercado and her brother, Jesus Mendez.
Left to cherish Mrs. Mercado's memories is her son, Juan Mercado Jr.; her daughters, Sandra (Benito) Gonzalez, Angelita Mercado, San Juanita (Miguel) Martinez, Josie Ramirez, Maria Mercado; her brothers, Ruben Navarette, Jose Navarette; her sister, San Juana Rico; 23 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Celia Mercado is scheduled for Monday, September 5, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm with Prayer Service at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of Grace.
Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
