Alamo- Carlos Alejandro Ibarra Jr., a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on March 6, 2026, in McAllen, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter that will be cherished by all who had the privilege to know him. Born on October 19, 2000, in Edinburg, Texas, Carlos was a radiant light in the lives of his family and friends, always greeting everyone with a kind heart and a warm smile.
Carlos was known for his welcoming personality, making others feel at ease in his presence. He had an incredible sense of humor that brought joy to every gathering. Many regarded him as the life of the party, effortlessly lifting spirits and creating memories that would last forever. His loving nature extended to his family, who he held dear to his heart.
He is survived by his father, Carlos Alejandro Ibarra Sr., and his mother, Fina Kay Guzman, both of whom shaped him into the wonderful person he became. His siblings, Nathaniel Ibarra, Mario de la Luz, John Lozano Jr., Dezaray Morales (David), and Destiny Ibarra, will forever treasure the moments they shared and the bonds they forged. Additionally, his nephews, Jayce Morales and Sage Morales, were lucky to have an uncle.
Carlos is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Juan Ibarra and San Juana Ibarra, who proudly watched him grow into a remarkable young man.
He now joins his maternal grandparents, Martin Guzman and Betty Guzman, in eternal rest, but the memory of his vibrant spirit will continue to shine in the hearts of everyone who loved him.
A viewing to honor and remember Carlos will be held on March 11, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Heavens in Elsa, Texas. As we gather to pay our respects, let us celebrate the beautiful life of Carlos Alejandro Ibarra Jr., a beacon of kindness and joy, whose memory will live on in our hearts forever.
