San Juan-Carlos Manuel González López, un amado esposo, padre, hijo, hermano y amigo, falleció el 31 de octubre de 2025 en DHR Hospice, dejando tras de sí un legado de amor, alegría y recuerdos inolvidables. Nacido el 2 de noviembre de 1960 en el Distrito Federal, México, Carlos iluminó la vida de todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo con su espíritu cálido y su entusiasmo contagioso por la vida.

Para su familia, Carlos no fue solo una figura de apoyo, sino el pilar inquebrantable del hogar, un hombre trabajador que se entregó por completo a sus seres queridos. Su esposa, Maribel Leal, y sus hijos, Karim y Halim González, eran el centro de su corazón. El amor de Carlos por su familia era inmenso, y encontraba felicidad en los momentos sencillos compartidos, contando historias y creando recuerdos que serán atesorados por siempre.

La vibrante personalidad de Carlos se reflejaba en sus muchas pasiones. Conocido cariñosamente como el DJ de la familia, tenía un amor incomparable por la música, la cual usaba para reunir a las personas. Cuando no estaba seleccionando las canciones perfectas para las reuniones familiares, se le podía encontrar en su jardín, cuidando sus plantas con esmero y dedicación. Su cariño por los pequeños placeres de la vida también se veía en su rutina nocturna de disfrutar tacos en Taquería Ríos, donde se deleitaba con sus favoritos, los tacos de barbacoa, acompañados de una fría Corona o una cerveza Dos Equis.

Carlos también era conocido por su gusto por las películas de acción, de las cuales solía repetir sus frases favoritas, y por su alegre costumbre de tomarse selfies, capturando momentos llenos de risas y felicidad. Su presencia llenaba de camaradería cualquier reunión, haciendo que incluso los días más comunes se sintieran especiales.

Su partida deja un profundo vacío en los corazones de quienes lo amaron. Le sobreviven su querida madre, Cecilia López Guzmán de González; su hermano, Homero González; Hernán González y sus amadas hermanas, Irene Fabela, Susana Flores y Jacqueline Espinoza. Todos ellos recordarán por siempre su sonrisa contagiosa y la calidez de su risa.

Carlos se reúne en el descanso eterno con su amado padre, Carlos González González, y su hermano, Jorge González, donde juntos velarán por sus seres queridos desde el cielo.

Familiares y amigos están cordialmente invitados a celebrar su vida durante una velación el 3 de noviembre de 2025, de 5:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m., seguida de un servicio de oración a las 6:00 p.m., en Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco- Chapel of Grace, en Weslaco, Texas.De acuerdo con sus deseos, el Sr. González será cremado en una fecha posterior.

His affection for life's little pleasures extended to his nightly routine of savoring tacos at Taqueria Rios, where he delightedly indulged in his favorite barbacoa tacos while enjoying a cold Corona or Dos Equis beer.

Carlos was also known for his love of action movies, often quoting lines from his favorites, and his cheerful habit of taking selfies, capturing moments filled with laughter and joy. He brought a sense of camaraderie to every gathering, making even the most ordinary days feel special.

His passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved him. He is survived by his beloved mother, Cecilia Lopez Guzman de Gonzalez, his brother Homero Gonzalez, and his cherished sisters, Irene Fabela Hernan Gonzalez, Susana Flores, and Jacqueline Espinoza. They will forever remember his infectious smile and the warmth of his laughter.

Carlos joins his late father, Carlos Gonzalez Gonzalez, and his brother, Jorge Gonzalez, in eternal rest, where they will reunite as they watch over their loved ones from above.

Carlos Manuel Gonzalez Lopez will be remembered not only for the life he lived but for the love he shared. He touched many lives, and his memory will linger in the hearts of all who knew him. Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life during a viewing on November 3, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, followed by a prayer service at 6:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of Grace in Weslaco, Texas. As per his wishes, Mr. Gonzalez will be cremated at a later date.
