Blanca Sustayta

Elsa- Blanca Herlinda Sustayta, 65, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.

She was born on June 26, 1957 to Mr. Jose Nieves Castro and Mrs. Juana Badillo Castro in Rio Bravo, Tamps., Mexico.

Mrs. Sustayta is preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband, Petronilo Sustayta.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Marco Antonio Sustayta (Cristina), Pedro Sustayta (Mary); her daughters, Erica Sustayta, Karina Sustayta-Riedl (Mark), Blanca H. Torres (Eddie), Juana Sustayta-Stock (Jerry); her brothers, Francisco Castro, Santos Castro, Nieves Castro; her sisters, Leticia Avellaneda, Maribel Gonzalez, Eva Castro, Lucila Castro-Martinez, Maricela Marquez and 7 grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Blanca Herlinda Sustayta is scheduled for Wednesday, August 31, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels. A Chapel Service will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2020 at 8:00 am at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
