Aurora Mendoza

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Aurora Mendoza, a beloved mother, daughter, grandmother, and friend, who departed this world on October 11, 2026, at the age of 97. Born on July 3, 1929, in a world that has seen immense change, Aurora embraced life with grace and an unwavering spirit. Her warmth and wisdom touched the lives of everyone she knew, and her legacy will continue through her family and the countless memories shared.

Aurora is survived by her devoted sons, Jose Mendoza, Raul Mendoza, and Rodrigo Mendoza, as well as her cherished daughter, Juliana Mendoza De Mata. Each of them carries a piece of her indomitable spirit, instilling her values and traditions in their own families. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and numerous family and friends.

Throughout her life, Aurora was known for her love of family, and her infectious laughter that could brighten the heaviest of days. As we celebrate her remarkable journey, we invite all who knew and loved her to join us in honoring her life and the profound impact she made on each of us.

Funeral services are being held at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Angels. A public viewing will take place on October 14, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM, followed by a prayer service at 7:00 PM. We will gather again on October 15, 2026, for the funeral service at 9:30 AM, allowing us to come together in remembrance and reflection. Aurora will be laid to rest at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park at 11:00 AM, a final resting place that reflects the tranquility she so deserved.

As we gather to honor Aurora, let us share stories, laughter, and tears, celebrating the beautiful tapestry of her life. In our hearts, she will always remain, a beacon of love and compassion guiding us onward.
