La Villa- Aurora Elena "Gory" Garza, 73, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at McAllen Heart Hospital in McAllen, Texas.
Mrs. Garza was born on August 18, 1951 to Mr. Guadalupe Leos Garza and Mrs. Aurora O. Garza in Hart, Michigan.
Mrs. Garza is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Guadalupe Leos Garza and Mrs. Aurora O. Garza; her husband, Jesus G. "Chuy" Garza.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Sylvia G. (Rolando) Contreras, Noemi (Jesus) Martinez; her sister, Juanita "Janie" Hernandez; 5 nieces and nephews; 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Aurora Elena "Gory" Garza is scheduled for Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm both evenings. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024 at 3:00 pm at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Edcouch, Texas. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
