Brownsville, Texas - Armando Garcia Torres, 83, passed away to be with the Lord on July 3, 2025, at Ebony Lakes Nursing and Rehab.

Mr. Garcia Torres was born on February 21, 1942, in El Capote, Tamaulipas Mexico to Mr. Manuel Garcia Valdez & Mrs. Francisca Torres De La Cruz.

He is preceded in death by both of his parents and her sister Lidia Garcia Torres.

Armando Garcia Torres is survived by his sons; Armando Arturo Garcia (Consuelo Noemi), Fernando Garcia (Eva Flores) , and Federico (Martha) Garcia, his daughters Laura Lidia (Jose Manuel) and Aminta (Jose Antonio) Garcia de Salazar, his brothers, Manuel Garcia Torres and Ruben Garcia Torres, 18 granchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Visitation for Armando Garcia Torres is scheduled for Monday, July 07, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home-Chapel of the Angels - Brownsville. As per his wishes, Mr. Garcia Torres will be cremated at a later date

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Brownsville.
