Expressway 83, Weslaco, TX 78599. Durante la velación se llevará a cabo el Santo Rosario de 6:00 p.m. a 7:00 p.m.

El martes 28 de abril de 2026 se celebrará una Misa a las 10:00 a.m. en Holy Spirit Catholic Church en Progreso, Texas, en honor a su fe y a la plenitud de su vida. Posteriormente, su sepelio se llevará a cabo en Sacred Park Cemetery a partir de las 11:00 a.m.

Antonio was a man whose gentle and welcoming nature made everyone around him feel at ease. A great son, husband, father, and brother, he was cherished deeply by his family. His mother, Maria Nelia Freyre Dosal, along with his brothers Luis Dosal, David Freyre, Oscar A. Villanueva, and Julio C. Villanueva, his sisters Yadira Dosal, Stefanie Villanueva, Ana Villanueva, Laura Villanueva, and Cruz D. Villanueva, all bear the lasting imprint of his spirit.

Antonio was preceded in death by his father, Antonio Villanueva, whose legacy he carried forward with honor and pride.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Antonio's life with a Viewing on Monday, April 27, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of Faith, located at 2929 W. Expressway 83, Weslaco, TX 78599. The evening will include a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, April 28, 2026, a Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Progreso, Texas, honoring Antonio's faith and the fullness of his life. Following the Mass, his interment will take place at Sacred Park Cemetery beginning at 11:00 a.m.

Antonio Villanueva's life was a testament to the power of love and laughter. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
