El Pastor Andres R. Morales, de 84 años de edad y residente de Weslaco, Texas, partió de este mundo para estar con el Señor el 2 de octubre de 2026, dejando un hermoso legado de fe, amor y servicio a Dios.

Andres nació el 1 de abril de 1942 en Weslaco, Texas, hijo de Modesto Morales y Francisca Rodriguez. A lo largo de su vida fue conocido como un gran hombre de Dios, cuya fe fue el centro de todo lo que hizo. Como Pastor Pentecostal, dedicó su vida a servir al Señor, compartir la Palabra de Dios, orar por los demás y animar a quienes lo rodeaban a poner su confianza en Cristo. Su ministerio fue mucho más que un llamado; fue su manera de vivir.

El Pastor Morales tocó muchas vidas por medio de su fe, compasión, sabiduría y dedicación a Dios. Ya fuera desde el púlpito, orando por alguien que atravesaba momentos difíciles, ofreciendo palabras de ánimo o simplemente demostrando su fe a través de sus acciones, siempre procuró ser un siervo fiel del Señor. Su vida fue un testimonio de perseverancia, entrega y amor por Dios y por su familia.

Además de su ministerio, Andres fue un amoroso esposo, padre dedicado, orgulloso abuelo y bisabuelo, querido hermano y buen hijo. Su familia fue una de las mayores bendiciones de su vida. Atesoró cada momento compartido con sus seres queridos y deja generaciones que llevarán siempre en sus corazones su recuerdo, sus enseñanzas, su fe y su amor.

Andres fue precedido en la muerte por sus padres, Modesto Morales y Francisca Rodriguez; su primera esposa, Elvira Morales; un hermano, Jesus Morales; y dos hermanas, Francisca Montemayor y Felipa Garcia.

Quedan para honrar y atesorar su memoria su amada esposa, Juana E. Morales; sus hijos, Americo Morales (Amber), Andres Morales, Jr. (Gracie), Alberto Morales (Laura) y Abraham Morales (Sarah); sus hijas, Elizabeth Morales, Eva Morales Atkinson (Mike), Elisa Morales (Francisco Colon) y Erica Morales; sus hermanos, Ricardo Morales, Ramiro Morales y Eleazar Morales; y sus hermanas, Guadalupe Castañeda y Modesta Morales. También le sobreviven 16 nietos y numerosos bisnietos, quienes forman parte del hermoso legado que deja.

Aunque su presencia terrenal será profundamente extrañada, su familia encuentra consuelo en la misma fe que el Pastor Andres predicó fielmente durante toda su vida. Las palabras que compartió, las oraciones que elevó y el ejemplo que dejó continuarán viviendo en cada una de las personas cuyas vidas tocó. Su jornada en esta tierra ha terminado, pero el legado de un fiel siervo de Dios, esposo, padre, abuelo y hermano permanecerá por generaciones.

La velación del Pastor Andres R. Morales se llevará a cabo el jueves, 8 de octubre de 2026, de 6:00 PM a 9:00 PM en La Funeraria Salinas de Weslaco - Capilla de los Cielos, con un Servicio de Oración a las 7:00 PM.

El Servicio Fúnebre se llevará a cabo el viernes, 9 de octubre de 2026, a las 10:00 AM en la Funeraria Salinas de Weslaco - Capilla de los Cielos. El sepelio continuará posteriormente en Donna City Cemetery.

El Pastor Andres R. Morales será recordado no solamente por los sermones que predicó, sino también por la vida que vivió: una vida dedicada a Dios, a su familia y al servicio de los demás. Su voz podrá haber callado en esta tierra, pero su testimonio, sus enseñanzas y su fe continuarán hablando a través de las vidas de todos aquellos que tuvieron la bendición de conocerlo y amarlo.

Pastor Andres R. Morales, 84, of Weslaco, Texas, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on October 2, 2026, surrounded by the love and legacy of a family he cherished deeply.

Andres was born on April 1, 1942, in Weslaco, Texas, to Modesto Morales and Francisca Rodriguez. Throughout his life, he was known as a great man of God whose faith was at the center of everything he did. As a Pentecostal Pastor, he devoted his life to serving the Lord, sharing the Word of God, praying for others, and encouraging those around him to place their trust in Christ. His ministry was more than a calling-it was a way of life.

Pastor Morales touched many lives through his faith, compassion, wisdom, and dedication to God. Whether behind the pulpit, praying with someone in need, offering words of encouragement, or simply living out his faith through his actions, he sought to be a faithful servant of the Lord. His life was a testimony of perseverance, devotion, and love for God and family.

Beyond his ministry, Andres was a loving husband, devoted father, proud grandfather and great-grandfather, caring brother, and faithful son. His family was one of his greatest earthly blessings. He treasured the time spent with those he loved and leaves behind generations who will carry his memory, teachings, faith, and love in their hearts.

Andres is preceded in death by his parents, Modesto Morales and Francisca Rodriguez; his first wife, Elvira Morales; one brother, Jesus Morales; and two sisters, Francisca Montemayor and Felipa Garcia.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Juana E. Morales; his sons, Americo Morales (Amber), Andres Morales, Jr. (Gracie), Alberto Morales (Laura), and Abraham Morales (Sarah); his daughters, Elizabeth Morales, Eva Morales Atkinson (Mike), Elisa Morales (Francisco Colon), and Erica Morales; his brothers, Ricardo Morales, Ramiro Morales, and Eleazar Morales; and his sisters, Guadalupe Castañeda and Modesta Morales. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, each of whom formed a special part of the beautiful legacy he leaves behind.

Although his earthly presence will be greatly missed, his family finds comfort in the faith that Pastor Andres so faithfully preached throughout his life. The words he shared, the prayers he prayed, and the example he set will continue to live on through the countless lives he touched. His journey on earth has ended, but the legacy of a faithful servant, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and man of God will remain for generations.

A visitation for Pastor Andres R. Morales is scheduled for Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of The Heavens, with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 PM.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 9, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of The Heavens. Interment will follow at Donna City Cemetery.

Pastor Andres R. Morales will be remembered not only for the sermons he preached, but for the life he lived-a life dedicated to God, his family, and serving others. His voice may now be still, but his testimony will continue to speak through the lives of all who knew and loved him.
