Amparo Vera Alaniz

Elsa- Amparo Vera Alaniz, 95, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at her residence in Elsa.

Mrs. Alaniz was born on September 8, 1928 to Mr. Pablo Vera and Mrs. Antonia Carrillo Vera in Nuevo Leon, Tamps., Mexico.

Mrs. Alaniz is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Pablo Vera and Mrs. Antonia Carrillo Vera; her loving husband, Rosendo P. Alaniz; her brother, Pablo Vera; her sisters, Alicia V. Garcia, Benita V. Leal, Paula V. Leal, Caridad V. Reyna.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Alvino Alaniz, Rosendo (Irma) Alaniz Jr.; her daughters, Rebeca (Enrique) Barco, Roselia Munoz, Rosalinda Ocanas; 12 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Amparo Vera Alaniz is scheduled for Wednesday, June 5, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Elsa. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
