Edcouch - Amelia Sanchez, 91, passed away Friday, August 16, 2024 at her residence.
Mrs. Sanchez was born February 27, 1933 in Elsa, Texas daughter of Ricardo Herrera and Virginia Bruno Herrera. She is preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Rogelio Herrera and Leo Herrera and a sister, Trini Herrera.
Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Jose Sanchez, Tony Sanchez (Cecilia); a brother, Mario Herrera and 2 sisters, Elvira Cavazos and Rosita Martinez. Also surviving her are 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild,
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. A funeral chapel service is scheduled for Friday, August 23, 2024 at 10:00 am with ubterment to follow at Highland Memorial Park at 11:00 am.
Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Elsa.
