Amado Garcia Banda

Weslaco- Amado Garcia Banda, 88, fell asleep in death peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at his residence in Weslaco.

Mr. Banda was born on September 13, 1934 to Mr. Julian Banda and Mrs. Jacinta G. Banda in Rio Rico, Tamaulipas, Mexico.

Mr. Banda is preceded in death by his parents; the mother of his children, Maria Ofelia Banda; his son, Esteban Banda; his brothers, Rodolfo Banda, Eugenio Banda, Erasmo Banda, Miguel Banda, Pedro Banda, Victor Vallejo & Jose Guadalupe Vallejo; his sisters, Maria Elena Chapa & Diana Banda.

Left to cherish his memories are his Loving Wife, Eduvina Aleman Banda; his sons, Amado (Sonia) Banda Jr., Reynaldo (Rosa) Banda; his daughter, Elizabeth (Jose) Meza; his brothers, Julian Banda, Juan Banda, Carlos Banda; his sisters, Hilda Torres, Alicia Banda, Aurora Banda & Yolanda Banda; 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr. Amado Garcia Banda is scheduled for Friday, November 4, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Talk Service at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Weslaco. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 10:00 am at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Weslaco. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.

Serving as Pallbearers are Jacob Banda, Vilson Castaneda, David Banda, Juan Chapa, Jose Meza, Jonathan Meza, Jesus Vega, Jonathan Coody.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
