Alonzo Herrera

Weslaco, Texas - Alonzo L. Herrera, 78, passed away to be with the Lord on June 13, 2024 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.

Mr. Herrera was born on October 10, 1945 in Donna, TX to Heriberto Herrera & Amalia Limon.

He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Oscar Herrera, Armando Herrera, Francisco Herrera; one sister, Beatriz Cruz; one son in law, Benito Tober.

Alonzo L. Herrera is survived his wife, Margarita Herrera; two daughters, Marivel Herrera Tober, Mariana Lopez (Jose Miguel) & one brother, Carlos Herrera. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Marivel Mia Lopez & Jose Miguel Lopez, Jr.

Visitation for Alonzo L. Herrera is scheduled for Tuesday, June 18, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of the Heavens. A 10:00 AM Chapel Service is scheduled for Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of the Heavens. Interment will follow at Donna City Cemetery.
