Donna - Alma Montez, 89, passed away to be with the Lord on December 29, 2022 at Amara Hospice.
Mrs.Montez was born on April 3, 1933 in Donna, TX. to Mr. Narciso De La Garza & Mrs. Bertha De La Garza.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Mario Montez and her son, Noe Montez, her brother, Ramiro De La Garza, and her sister Emma Forrest.
Alma Montez is survived by her daughters; Diana Pulido (Roberto) and Marta Ann Howton (Charles), her sons; Mario Alberto Montes (Alma) and Santiago Montez (Maria) her brother Rodolfo De la Garza and her sister Irma Tamez. Ms. Montez had 14 grand children and 23 great grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Alma Montez is scheduled for Monday, January 02, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of the Angels. A Chapel service is scheduled for Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 10:00 am at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Weslaco. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
