Mercedes- Alfonso Moreno, a beloved husband, father, son, and brother, passed away on May 2, 2026, in Louisiana. Born on June 7, 1986, in Weslaco, Texas, Alfonso lived a life that was a testament to the power of kindness, laughter, and unwavering devotion to family.

From his earliest days, Alfonso displayed a warm and welcoming nature that drew others to him. He possessed a rare ability to put people at ease, whether through a genuine smile, a heartfelt word, or his quick wit. Those close to him often marveled at his great sense of humor, which infused even the most ordinary moments with joy and lightheartedness. Yet beneath this playful exterior lay a steadfast heart, loving and deeply caring for all who were fortunate enough to know him.

He is survived by his cherished wife, Nubia Pena; his beloved children Kitzia Moreno, Hector Guajardo, Ashly Guajardo, and Kayleen Guajardo; his devoted parents Anacleto Moreno and Socorro A. Moreno; and his dear siblings Julio Moreno, Cynthia Moreno, and Erica Moreno. Alfonso also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, each carrying forward a part of his warmth and spirit.

In remembering Alfonso Moreno, we celebrate a life rich in love, laughter, and the profound impact he had on those he held dear.
