Con el corazón enamorado anunciamos el fallecimiento de Abel Filiberto Valle, un querido esposo, padre, abuelo, hermano y amigo, que partió de esta vida pacíficamente el 20 de agosto de 2026, a solo tres días de cumplir 71 años. Nacido el 23 de agosto de 1955 en México, Abel dedicó su vida a su familia y a la comunidad, encarnando los valores del trabajo duro y la bondad.
Abel era un residente de Brownsville, Texas, que encontraba una inmensa alegría en placeres sencillos: pescar junto al agua, recordar sus días de boxeo y atesorar los momentos compartidos con sus nietos. Las reuniones familiares iluminaban su espíritu, y a menudo era el corazón de estas ocasiones, reuniendo a todos con su amor por preparar deliciosas comidas a la barbacoa. Tenía una forma entrañable de hacer que cada reunión se sintiera especial, llena de risas y calidez.
Abel deja en vida a su devota esposa, Elizabeth Valle, y a sus queridos hijos: José (Carolina), Juan (Karla), David (Yessenia), Marisol (John) Davis y Maribel. También es recordado con cariño por sus hermanos, Jesús Valle, Ramirio González, Manuel González, y sus hermanas, Guadalupe Herrera, Gloria Valle, María González y Manuela Valle. Su legado perdurará a través de su familia, que mantendrá adelante los valores que él les inculcó.
Está programada una velatoria pública para el 25 de agosto de 2026 de 5:00 PM a 9:00 PM, todo ello en la funeraria Salinas - Capilla de los Ángeles en Brownsville. El servicio de oración tendrá lugar el 25 de agosto de 2026 a las 7:00 PM. Se celebrarán servicios funerarios para honrar la vida y el legado de Abel. Su funeral se celebrará el 26 de agosto de 2026 a las 2:00 PM horas, lo que conducirá a su lugar de descanso final en el Cementerio Comunitario Guillen a las 3:00 PM.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Abel Filiberto Valle, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who departed this life peacefully on August 20, 2026, just three days shy of his 71st birthday. Born on August 23, 1955, in Mexico, Abel dedicated his life to his family and the community while embodying the values of hard work and kindness.
Abel was a proud resident of Brownsville, Texas, who found immense joy in simple pleasures-fishing by the waters, reminiscing about his boxing days, and cherishing moments spent with his grandchildren. Family gatherings lit up his spirit, and he was often the heart of these occasions, bringing everyone together with his love for barbecuing delicious meals. He had an endearing way of making every gathering feel special, filled with laughter and warmth.
Abel is survived by his devoted wife, Elizabeth Valle, and their cherished children: Jose (Carolina), Juan (Karla), David (Yessenia), Marisol (John) Davis, and Maribel. He is also lovingly remembered by his brothers, Jesus Valle, Ramirio Gonzalez, Manuel Gonzalez, and his sisters, Guadalupe Herrera, Gloria Valle, Maria Gonzalez, and Manuela Valle. His legacy will live on through his family, who will carry forward the values he instilled in them.
A Public Viewing is scheduled for August 25, 20026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, all at Salinas Funeral Home-Chapel of the Angels in Brownsville. A Prayer Service will take place on August 25, 2026, at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held to honor Abel's life and legacy. His Funeral Service will be conducted on August 26, 2026, at 2:00 PM, leading to his final resting place at the Guillen Community Cemetery at 3:00 PM.
As we reflect on Abel's life, we are reminded of the joy, love, and laughter he shared with all of us. He will be deeply missed, but forever etched in our hearts. May he rest in peace.
