Mr. de la Cruz was born March 12, 1948 in Mexico, son of Emilio de la Cruz and Maria Trinidad de la Cruz. He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Manuel Emilio de la Cruz Jr.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Nelida Guzman de la Cruz; his children, Osiel de la Cruz, Efren de la Cruz, Fernando de la Cruz, Roberto de la Cruz, Nelida de la Cruz, Natali de la Cruz; a brother, Fernando de la Cruz; sisters, Zoila de la Cruz Barguiarena and Martha Garza de la Cruz. Also surviving him are 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Heavens in Brownsville. Funeral chapel service is scheduled for Friday, May 19, 2023 at 10:00 am with interment to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.
