Cesar Javier Lugo

Brownsville - Cesar Javier Lugo, 69, passed away Friday, September 15, 2023 at his residence.

Mr. Lugo was born July 25, 1954 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico, son of Jose Rosalio Lugo and Maria Guadalupe Ortiz Lugo. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Noelia Lugo Villarreal.

Left to cherish his memories are his children, Cesar Javier Lugo Jr. (Esmeralda) and Monica Lugo and his brother-in-law Ernesto Villarreal. Also surviving him are 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 20, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Heavens in Brownsville. As per his wishes, he will be cremated at a later date.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.
